Today is Day # 289 ~ 7 a.m. miles
This is what I woke up to this morning.
Okay.
It was dark when I woke up this morning but this was the view as I shoveled a path to the road for S'ghetti Girl to get on the bus.
It was beautiful!
The snow just glittered in the sunlight. The air was refreshingly crisp. I was wrapped up in an envelope of my own warmth. I just wanted to breath it all in.
While I was basking in what could be the last snow of the season it did dawn on me that this was a lot of snow and my race in on trails. 31+/- miles of trails
at the Seneca Greenway Trail 50k.
I remember last year. The course was covered with snow and ice.
So today I am just wondering, how fast can snow melt?
the snow will melt from the presence of your awesomeness
ReplyDeleteWell, I hate to bring this up, but even if it does melt, doesn't that mean the trails will be covered in MUD?
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with andrew =)
ReplyDeleteThe snow does look beautiful but not so fun for running. I hope things clear up a bit for you, but knowing you... you'll make the best of it no matter what!
ReplyDeleteBring on the sunshine and 60 degree days so the snow melts quickly!! Of course, I hope it's not muddy!! Blek!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWe had five inches of snow yesterday and it was all melted by the afternoon. That is my kind of snow!
ReplyDeleteIf you were here, it would be fast. Can't make any promises for where you are. But since I LOVE being surrounded by snow, I have to admit I am a little jealous. And you will kick booty, snow or no snow.
ReplyDeleteWow, I've never seen snow like that! Hopefully snow melts pretty quickly :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on today's workout post. I've been having major sugar cravings too and I don't know why - I'm eating healthier but nothing drastic. I'm allowing myself a piece of dark chocolate or two a day, but I still want to eat the whole bag!
