An Answer:
Why January 6th?

I asked this question in my post entitled The Same 365 Days.  I gave hints as to the correct answer in previous posts however, noone was able to submit the correct answer.  Bummer!  But that just means more goodies for the next little hidden giveaway winner!  So keep watching and remember to read closely to take part in my hidden giveaways.

This was the why:
January 6th is observed as the Epiphany.
The term epiphany means "to show" or "to make known" or even "to reveal." In Western churches, it remembers the coming of the wise men bringing gifts to visit the Christ child, who by so doing "reveal" Jesus to the world as Lord and King.
What better day to reveal the winner.

 Big Announcement

Out of 100 entries randomly assigned a number I used Random.org to pick the winning number.  So bright and early this morning
(since I extended the deadline to midnight on the 6th)

my middle one entered the numbers into Random.org and

The winner of the One More Mile Giveaway is:

She told us that her racing outfit experince was

Crazy costume in the Crazy Legs Classic. I am from madison wi - home of the University of Wisconsin. One of the annual runs is the Crazy Legs Classic - named in honor of Crazy Legs Hirsh, former football player at UW and former athletic director.

Anyway - it is an 8K run held in April. There are usually at least a couple people running in full football gear. Last year we saw a couple of women - (late 50ish age wise - I am 54 and they were older than me) - in full pads and helmet running / walking during the race - which was run in about 45 degree weather and heavy heavy rain. Unbelievable and CRAZY.

Plus there are usually a couple of Hot dog costumes in honor of Oscar Mayer.

Linda email me so I can give you the details on how to choose your aMaZiNg GiVeAwAy thanks to One More Mile. Thanks to everyone who entered and shared their funny stories with me.
