You might be happy that this picture is a little dark since I look just so lovely after 10 treadmill sweaty miles. But I really wanted to show you just how lovely I look when I run inside where no one can see me. The sad things is that you don't see the bright orange shorts I have on. You are missing out. I wonder if I can squeeze a few more colors in there some where?
I had a great week of almost exclusively running on the treadmill. No. The treadmill was not the great part. The running was. With all our snow days I was able (read bored) and logged some long treadmill runs. Not as enjoyable as being outside but when the drifts are higher than my head and the wind is howling, getting to run at all is amazing.
With another snow storm in the forecast for Monday I will be pounding the treadmill for a little while longer. Rocking my amazingly non-color coordinated running gear.
When you run at home do you care about your outfit or do you dress to sweat?
That's amazing that you can run that long on a treadmill! Awesome job!
ReplyDeleteI dress to be comfortable. Who cares what I look like, I'm inside! :)
I give you huge props. I don't run on the treadmill - it bores me to tears. So if the weather is bad, I don't run at all. You were running. Who cares what you were wearing?
ReplyDeletenice run!! when i'm TM running, i dress to sweat! usually a sports bra and shorts. when i run outside, I attempt to look somewhat decent! :) haha!!!
ReplyDeleteWow...all treadmill and 10 miles on that thing today! GREAT JOB and dedication. I love the decription of your outfit. If I was working out at home I really wouldn't worry too much about my outfit but would want to wear running gear so I wasn't dreanched for a long run.
ReplyDeleteGreat running!
I wear my yuckiest and oldest stuff for home treadmills runs. Have to save the nice stuff for when I am out in public. Although, even then I usually don't match very often. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't wear anything. Saves on laundry. :)
ReplyDeleteJust kidding... I don't have a treadmill because I rarely ever have to run inside. If I have to run on the treadmill, it's at the gym. And I DO wear clothes there. But I still don't care much about what I look like. :)
I saw your mileage on dailymile - you are truly amazing!!! If I ran that amt of miles I'd be in a coma! We got about 4" of snow in Denver today but I didn't run so will see if I wimp out and treadmill it like you tomorrow! Great finish to the week, brighly colored and all! :)
ReplyDeletethis is so funny I was thinking about this the other day. I usually reach into my running drawer in the dark and put on whatever so yes I look like a real prize on the home mill. When I went to the gym last week I had to make a concerted effort to match!
ReplyDeleteAwesome mileage on the treadmill! I always "dress" to run ... even on the treadmill. But that's kind of my thing!
ReplyDeleteI dress to sweat...always!
ReplyDelete10 on a treadmill is no small feat! Way to go.
ReplyDeleteWhen I'm at home I wear a lot less - I'd never be caught running outside in shorts and a sports bra but it is what I wear at home.
i have this crazy obsession...i always have to match (my outfit). i know, it's crazy! but, i still get my motivation.
ReplyDeleteI only get all matchy matchy when I am racing. I am headed to the gym in a few and my outfit, which will be seen in public, is as follows...
ReplyDeleteBlack Capris with pruple trim
Green tank
Blue/Purple T-shirt
No make-up.
Yes. I am hot!
You are amazing for still getting your miles in!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, the dreadmill doesn't bother me right now. I go through some fazes though, where just looking at it drives me bonkers. But I can totally rock 12-15 on it no prob when I need to. And I totally dress to sweat...I pull out all the non-matching running gear I have when I run at home :)
Good luck with the snow!!!
I wear a Bondi Band on my short hair when I run inside, so I look like a total dork.
ReplyDeleteGood for you getting the miles in!
I don't have a treadmill at home... when I use it, I have to go to the gym so I have to dress somewhat presentably. If I was at home, I certainly wouldn't worry about it.
ReplyDeleteTo be TOTALLY honest, I always care about how I am dressed when I run.. Not sure what it is, but a GREAT outfit helps me to get excited to run. We all have out hot points I guess. Course when I ride the stationary bike at home I don't totally care about what I wear.
