The beginning of another kind

I always find life interesting.
A little sign of a new beginning in a place that some would view as the end.
Or is it just a beginning of another kind?

I love my routine.  I am sure you have caught on to that hidden little gem about me.  So this morning little bug-man and I went out for a chilly morning run 3.5 miles (29:23).  Odd, how I think mid-thirtys is chilly when just a few months ago we were all tolerating temps in the teens and wishing for the 30s.
I was a minute slower this morning AFTER not running last night.  My legs truly run better when they are constantly used.  Maybe I am the only runner crazy enough to be running doubles most days for the past 15+ years.  Am I the only runner out there who experinces this constant use effect?

3 Changes Challenge
April 14th - Wednesday

1. h2o - 64+oz - Success

2. Destress - Got the kiddos to bed by 10:00 with the house dark and quiet I prayed for all my constant commenter and faithful followers who add so much to my days - Success

3. Xtrain - Hubbs had to leave for work last evening so no run and no 'real' cross training.  I will have to get it in this weekend to make my 2 days goal! - needs improvement

  7. Constant use just wears me out. However, it is often surprising how back to back runs can yield surprising success.

  8. Thanks for stopping by my blog.. I am a stay at home mom of two (9 yr old boy, 3 yr old girl) I too have been running 15+ years. You asked what my family thinks about the 40 by 40...my husband is my biggest fan and supporter..the kids don't know anything different. :) I have always run marathons in their minds, maybe not to this extent...we are all excited about the possibilities.

I love the 3 changes challenge! What a great idea. I have enjoyed reading your posts..you are very positive and inspiring. Thanks. Bug-man looks like a great running partner!

  9. I PROMISE I am going to email you back. I just need to be able to give your questions proper answers without my girls screaming in my ear.

I think you might be on to something with the doubles. P90X kicked my butt last night, but I ran super fast this morning ... hmmm

  13. Wow! I knew you put in a lot of miles with a lot of 2-a-days, but I didn't realize you have been doing it consistently for so many years. That is amazing!
