There once was a girl just like you
who everyday would lace up her shoes
and off she would trod, on road or on sod
through an occasional corn field or two.
While running one day
she found this in her way
and instantly knew what to do
she'd dig out the rocks
so she could go running in socks
just like the barefooters do!
