While I have been putting in miles on the treadmill due to the lack of motivation to go outside in the dark day light, I have been wondering.
S'ghetti girl just got her report card. She did amazing by the way. But I noticed something as she was digging through your book bag. Her book bag has gone from looking like this....
...to this!
It is so overstuffed she needs a children's backpack to be able to carry it all without breaking her back. That got me wondering why text books are still not available on line. Why do they need to have a children's backpack to carry all their assignments around?
Don't get me wrong, I have even been in the market for a new backpack for our hiking adventures but I don't think my daughter should have to carry a children's backpack to simply manage her daily homework. And if I got her a children's backpack for school, I doubt she'd be very excited to use it when we were actually hiking.
Have you noticed your child's backpack to have grown since the start of the school year?
Does your school district handle text books and homework differently?
I can help but wonder if there isn't a better way.
