Throw up on Demand with a View

I am not going to lie.  With the jogger or without running is just the best thing EVER.
I was so happy to get back out there tonight.
I didn't dread for a second that I would have to push the stroller.
Really!
LBM snoozed almost the entire time.  6.5 miles (51:09)
I enjoyed the sunshine even though it was a bit chilly.

After we got back I had promised myself I was hitting the ground for my situps and pushups but then LBM decided that he was going to cry...until he threw up.
Really.  Really?
That is what I thought as it happened a second and then a third time.
After that he was running around again as if nothing had happened.
Although he noticed that his blankey was missing.  That would be due to the mess it became when he tried to comfort himself with it while throwing up.  Into the washer it went.
But I did really hold in those ab muscles while I was scrubbing the floor!
Really.  I did!

Mel @ Tall Mom on the Run gave me a great idea.  Okay I think it is a great idea, let's see if you do.  In Mel's recent post she shared with us "the view from her kitchem window."  It was amazing.  Mount Rainier in all it's glory as she washes dishes.  I think that it might be interesting and a great post topic if you are in need of material to write about to get to know each other via our views.  It can be the view from your porch or out your front door.  Your view down the road or from your back deck or even out your office window.  Whatever view shows us a little bit about the world around your daily life.
So are you in?
I am going to ask the first two followers who commented on my last post to get the ball rolling and share their view with us.
MCM Mama and Teamarcia show us your view.

This is my view down the road.
Coming or going I see this view.
It reminds me of what is really important in my life.
I see my church, God first.
 I see trees and nature.
I see wide open spaces.
And right in front of me, I see my kiddo.
A place where each of my kiddos have spent time.
This view doesn't show everything that makes up Shelly but it sure shows a lot of what I love!

  3. I took your lead and split up my miles yesterday. I did 5.5 with the baby and jogger and then did 3.2 all by myself. I loved it.

  4. Throw up = not fun. I like this whole view thing. My view is rather limited being in a subdivision and all, but I'll still post it!

  10. Love that view! I'll post something shortly.

Jones used to scream until he'd throw up and then go back to screaming. Fun times, I tell you. Hope it was just a one (3?) time thing.

  11. great pic!

And I don't think I've mentioned it before, but a lot of the pics I put up (of me in front of a pond) are from my backyard. I have one up right now of me and my son on our back porch. I love opening our back sliding doors and feeling that breeze come off the water.

  12. Way to go! I always dread pushing the stroller (unless we are actually "strolling").

  13. I love your view and the things it says about you!

I totally agree with the running with or without the jogger. It's all about the run.

Thanks for posting about my giveaway =)
