That Silver Lining

Yesterday I tried to see that silver lining in the way my day didn't go my way.  I think I was able to enjoy letting go of the dissapointment that I often have when I miss a run.  We enjoyed playing and I enjoyed getting the kids to bed a little bit earlier.

Today things went my way.
I got a great morning run in.
I am all geared up for a run while my middle one has soccer practice.
I am excited to see if I can pull that off.
It is 91 degrees right now.
I can't wait to get out there and sweat!

  12. Oh my gosh - 91 sounds incredible. But we had some really warm temps last week - high 70's - so that warm air obviously moved east. Tonight it is 48 and raining.

Glad you were able to get your run in today. I use to always run during my son's soccer practices - it was a great time to run. ;-)

  13. 91! I had to pull out my son's winter jacket to keep him warm in the baby jogger tonight - and, sadly, I just finished washing it on the weekend to put it away for the weekend.
I guess there is some hope for warmer weather.
